Joyceann

I have been involved with fitness since the days of Jackie Sorensen Aerobic Dancing. In 2011, I became a certified Group fitness instructor through American Council on Exercise.

My philosophy is simple: Work to your ability, have fun, and keep the mind open to new challenges. There should be NO judgement on your ability or on others. We are all here to accomplish alike goals.

Stay strong, stay healthy, stay flexible.

LogoAs long as I can remember, exercise has been apart of my life. Being fascinated with how the body works and moves, I earned a BS degree in Health and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Nutrition and Modern Dance from the University of Minnesota.

My philosophy is simple: I believe in honoring strength, beauty and grace found in all our bodies and making that powerful connection between mind and body, heart and spirit. As women, it is time for us to empower our minds as we love and strengthen our bodies.  It is time for us to blossom as we gather the tools to make compassionate and positive choices for ourselves. This precious gift will enable us to live forever fit in mind – body – and spirit. I hope to see you in class.

Heather has been dancing since she could walk.  She is classically trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. When she discovered Zumba in her late 20s, it was love at first dance!  Heather has been a certified Zumba instructor for over five years and has been with Personal Touch Group Fitness since its inception.

She enjoys creating routines to songs from various genres and thrives off of the energy from her students. Before class, you may see her young daughter Lucy exploring the studio!

Heather loves working at PT Group Fitness because it is a beautiful community of women who celebrate and support each other.  She truly believes that life is better when you’re dancing.

So keep calm and dance on!
